In this side table a clear column is cut into deep, irregular facets so that the whole body reads as a block of ice, with real bare branches and their few brown leaves set deep inside it at mid-height. The top is cut flat across the facets and the foot flares out to the floor.
The branches are dried and stabilised, then held in position while the material is built up around them, so they sit in the thickness and are read from every side rather than against a face. The facets are modelled into the mould over the whole form and no two are alike. Polishing a faceted body is the slow part, because every plane has to come up to the same grade and the arrises between them have to stay true. The cut top is worked flat last of all and the foot is faced so the column stands without packing.
At 69cm this stands beside a chair or alone in a hall, and its cut top takes a lamp or a drink. The branches and the facets both need light passing through the body to read, so it belongs where light reaches it from the side rather than in a corner. It is heavy at the foot, which makes it steady and slow to reposition.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The set branch work is what fills the time. Only three things need deciding. The branch material is chosen at order, the facets are worked coarser or finer, and a tint is taken through the whole column. Top span and column height are quoted to your own figures. Ordered as a group, the columns are worked to one height and the branches are chosen together, so they read as a set without repeating. The crate is built so nothing touches the cut top and the flared foot; two people take it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Bare branches caught inside an ice-faceted column belong with our organic sculptures; carrying a lamp by a chair it joins our art furniture, its faceted body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
