Clear Seed Head & Dried Bloom Block Resin Sculpture - 20cm
Clear Seed Head & Dried Bloom Block Resin Sculpture - 20cm $1,62000
Description

Papery clusters of dried flowers crowd most of this narrow clear resin block, their ruffled heads in cinnamon and dusky mauve-brown on long, dark stems that run right down to its foot. Between them hang round seed heads, spiky and pale as raw linen: one near the crown, one partway down and a broad one close to the bottom. A faint peppering of dark specks shows in the resin among them.

Papery Flower Clusters and Spiky Seed Heads

Clear resin forms the block, its polished faces meeting at sharp right angles, and it is transparent enough for the arrangement to be read from the front, from either side or straight down through the top. Each flower cluster is made up of many small papery florets crimped at the edge, which gives it a soft, ruffled outline. The seed heads are tight globes of fine spines, paler at the tips than at the centre, and they break up the warm browns with a cooler, greyish cream. Stems cross and overlap at different depths, so the arrangement shifts a little as you walk around it.

A narrow footprint lets it slip onto a crowded mantelpiece, a dressing table or a hall table without taking over, and its dried colours sit well with oak, linen and stone. At 20cm it holds the eye on a low bookcase, where the seed heads come level with anyone seated nearby. A lamp beside it sharpens the spines and the crimped florets. Indoor use only.

Commissioning a Different Dried Bloom, and Delivery

Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. Every order brings one block, produced after you place it. Commissioned bespoke, it can be filled with grasses, a single bloom or a few seed heads alone, or with these flowers in a denser bunch, and it can be made at other heights or in a faintly warm-tinted resin. Wrapped in tissue and bubble film, it comes in a sturdy box and is ready for its shelf the moment it is unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Ruffled cinnamon clusters and pale spiky seed heads give this narrow block its place in our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
