Clear Russet Leaf Rippled Cliff Rock Resin Sculpture on Wooden Stand - 123cm
Clear Russet Leaf Rippled Cliff Rock Resin Sculpture on Wooden Stand - 123cm $3,64300
Description

This clear resin rock is drawn long and low like a cliff face, and every part of its surface is rippled and furrowed with vertical ridges, as though water had frozen halfway down it. Along the top the crown rises into rounded knolls at one end, runs on in an easy shoulder and steps down at the other. Little dried leaves, each turned a russet brown and keeping its stalk and midrib, drift through the clear body at their own angles and depths. It comes with its wooden stand, which lifts the rock well clear of the floor.

A Cliff Face Furrowed From Crown to Foot

The body is imported clear resin, left colourless and glass-clear through its depth, so the furrows on the near face can be followed against those on the far one. The texture never settles into a pattern: ridges branch and rejoin, narrow hollows open between them, and each catches its own small highlight. The leaves are slim and pointed, a warm russet darkening to brown along the midrib, and they lie at random, some just under the surface and some deep in the rock. No two of these cliffs come out alike, in their furrows or in their leaves.

At 123cm overall it meets a visitor at chest height, so it belongs where people approach it head-on: at the turn of a staircase, facing a front door or closing the view down a corridor. Seen against a deep painted wall the ridges turn silver, while a pale wall keeps them soft and lets the russet leaves glow warmer. Leave open space at either end so the long outline can be read. Indoor use only.

Leaf Density, Stand Timber and the Crating

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The leaves can be gathered more thickly or spaced further apart, other dried leaves can take their place, or they can be left out so the resin stays plain and clear. You choose the stand's timber at the time of ordering, and further sizes are made on request. One rock and its stand make up the order, priced together. Rock and stand travel in fitted crating, and the rock is carried by two people holding its body, never its crown. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A long cliff of furrowed clear resin raised on its wooden stand sits with our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
