Description

A clear mountain with a high rounded crown that swells up from a broad, layered foot, its dome smooth and glassy where the lower slopes are worked into soft ripples. The crown sits a little off centre, so the profile climbs steeply on one side and descends in long terraces on the other, and the whole form is cast thin from front to back.

A Rounded Crown Over Terraced Slopes

The contrast between the crown and the slopes is the design. The dome is left almost untouched, one continuous curve polished until it holds a single reflection, while the slopes beneath it are worked into overlapping terraces that break the light into many small edges. Seen together they read as distance: the smooth summit stands back and the busy foothills come forward. Because the casting is so shallow, the eye takes it in as an outline first and a volume second, which is why the shoulders of the profile are drawn with such care.

It is a compact piece that sits comfortably on a desk or a cabinet top, or along a shelf, and its slim depth lets it stand in front of books or pictures. Light from behind lifts the dome and the terraces together, and a dark top beneath it sharpens the clear resin. It works alone or among pieces of a quieter shape.

A Rounded Crown, Tinted or Frosted, and Delivery

Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The crown can be drawn higher or broader and the terraces made fewer or more, and the resin can be tinted cobalt, jade or a warm amber, with the colour gathered into the dome. A frosted body is also offered and turns the whole form to a soft mist. It travels in a narrow padded box and only needs lifting out and setting down where it is to stand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A smooth crown over busy foothills belongs with our organic sculptures; a dome polished to one reflection suits our resin sculptures, and a compact clear hill joins our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
