A tree whose trunk leans out over a root sweep that runs further on one side than the other, and every branch carries pointed leaves along its length. Colourless from root to leaf, so the branching is read as line and the leaves as bright flecks along it. Fine twigs at the end of each branch carry the smallest leaves, so the canopy thins to a lace at its edges.
A tree drawn this thin cannot be carried by its trunk, so the root sweep does the work and reaches furthest on the side the canopy does not. Each leaf is drawn on its own rather than cut from a sheet, which is why no two canopies come out of the studio alike. The resin is what lets a leaf this thin exist at all: each one returns a bright edge and almost nothing between, so the canopy is read as a scatter of edges. Polished on every branch and leaf, with the root sweep taken to the same grade.
Floor work for a wide room, set where the lean of the trunk has space to fall into. The wall behind it should be dark. On a pale one the canopy has no outline to speak of. Side light finds every leaf edge at once; flat light leaves the whole canopy grey. The eye follows the lean of the trunk first and finds the leaves only from a pace or two away.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. Say the word and the leaf count is changed, the lean is set at another angle, or the canopy is drawn out wider or kept close. Change the lean and the root sweep is redrawn under it, because what holds the tree up is where the roots end rather than how thick the trunk is. Trunk and outer branches are crated apart and put together where the tree will stand. Three people. The leaf edges are the thinnest thing on it and they lead. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear tree leaning out over its own roots leads to our organic sculptures; its canopy of pointed leaves sits with our resin sculptures, and more for a wide floor space is in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
