This console table's top is a clear resin sheet worked into a rippled water surface with a broken, splashy perimeter rather than a cut edge. Its two supports do not match: at one end a heavy black rock form carries it, with a second, lesser rock breaking up through the surface directly above, and at the other a single thin clear resin blade set on edge.
The asymmetry is the whole idea and it is worth understanding before choosing an end for it. The rock end is dark, matt, heavily broken and visually very heavy: it reads as the anchor, and the small rock coming up through the top above it ties the two together so the support looks continuous with the table rather than under it. The blade end is the opposite in every way, a flat clear fin no thicker than a book, set square to the length, which from some angles disappears entirely and leaves the top apparently unsupported at that end. The top itself is worked all over, with the ripples running lengthways and breaking into finer chop near the perimeter, and the edge is left irregular so the sheet reads as water rather than as glass. Every rock is different, so the balance shifts a little from one table to the next.
Standing at true console height, it belongs against a wall, behind a sofa or along a hallway rather than in the middle of a room, and its depth holds a lamp beside a tray without crowding. The asymmetry means the piece has a strong side and a weak one: put the rock end towards the room and the blade end towards a corner, because the blade needs a plain ground behind it to read at all. It suits a hallway, a wide landing, a dining room wall or a reception area. Light along the wall rather than straight down brings the ripples up. Indoor use only.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The first question at order is handing: the rock can be at the left or the right, and it should be decided from the room rather than left to the studio, since swapping it afterwards means a new top. The rock end can also be built as a pair of rocks for a symmetrical table, which loses the imbalance but suits a console seen from both sides. For the top, length and depth are chosen at order; the ripple can be run fine or coarse. On the supports: the rock is black as standard, with a mid grey and a warm brown available, and the clear blade can be made in a smoke tint or replaced with a second rock. Height can also be set for a table to sit at. It arrives in three crates, the rock, the blade and the top, and the top locates onto both supports under its own weight with nothing to fix; two people can manage the blade and the top, and the rock is a two-person lift on its own. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A rippled top balanced on rock and blade belongs to our art furniture; the rock links it to our fibreglass sculptures, and its sculptural stance to our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
