In this table a heavy clear slab, rippled across its top and torn along its edge, is bedded on two rough black boulders, and a third black peak stands on the slab itself above one of them. The slab is clear enough to read the rock through it, so the boulders are seen both beneath and through the surface they carry.
The boulders are fibreglass, modelled by hand as rough black rock and matched as a pair for height, and their bearing tops are faced flat so the slab beds on them and not on packing. The slab is cast with its ripple worked into the upper mould face and its edge left torn as the material finished, and holding a clear section of this length free of bubbles is what sets the schedule. The third peak is set on the slab directly above one of the boulders rather than over the span between them. Every resin face is polished, the underside as well, since the rock beneath it is seen through the slab.
Standing at counter height, it is a table to lean at in a kitchen or a bar rather than to dine at, and stools rather than chairs suit it. The boulders take up floor at both ends, so allow for them when measuring rather than for the slab alone. It stands on the two boulders alone, which suits a hard floor; on a soft one, spread the load beneath them.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. Most of it is the boulder bedding. Three of its features are open. The boulders are modelled to order, so their outline can be agreed before work starts. The slab can be tinted and its edge can be finished instead of torn. Worktop length and counter height are settled at order. Nothing holds the bedding of the boulders between separate orders. Its crate is shaped round the slab arris and the two boulder faces, and four people lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A rippled slab on two black boulders, a third peak riding on top, gives our art furniture a counter table; the rocks suit our organic sculptures, the slab our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
