A long tabletop in thick clear acrylic, with rounded ends and a surface that ripples like water. Shallow round dishes are sunk into the top like pools in a stream, one toward each end, broad and worked smooth inside. It is sold as the top alone, with no legs or base, to go on a base of your choosing.
A tabletop is looked down on, so the top surface is where the work is: it is worked into soft ripples that catch the light like moving water, and the round dishes sunk along it give places for bowls, candles or a bowl of fruit to sit. At its thickness the slab reads as a block of clear material, and its edges are polished so the thickness shows as a line of light. Rounded ends soften the long rectangle and make it easy to sit around, with no corners to catch.
With a base of glass, steel, stone or resin, it becomes a dining table, a long desk or a boardroom table. It suits a dining room or a large kitchen with strong daylight, where the ripples catch the light through the day. A dark base under it makes the clear slab read strongly; a clear base makes the whole table almost disappear.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The top can be made to another length, width or thickness, with more or fewer dishes or none, and in a tinted or frosted acrylic. A frosted top hides the base and reads as a slab of ice. A base can be made to suit it, in clear acrylic, steel or stone. It travels flat in a padded crate, and three or four people are needed to lift it onto its base. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A top waiting for a base of your own choosing belongs with our art furniture; round dishes sunk into the clear slab lead to our acrylic sculptures, and ripples running like a stream join our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
