This side table is a solid clear cylinder with its side worked into concentric rings that spread from one point, the way a surface moves when it is struck there. The rings are cut into the material rather than applied to it, so they are read through the body from the far side as well as the near one, and the top is cut flat.
The rings are cut into the cylinder rather than pressed into a mould face, so each one keeps a hard arris and they read as a series of steps rather than as a wave. They spread from a single point on the side, which means the cut has to be set out from that point and carried round a curving surface without the spacing opening up as it goes. Holding a solid section this deep entirely clear is what sets the schedule. The top is worked flat last of all and its arris left true, and the foot is faced so the cylinder stands without packing.
At 60cm it sits level with the arm of most chairs, and the flat cut top takes a book and a glass together. The rings are cut rather than coloured, so they show by the shadow they throw inside the material and go almost flat under a downlight. There is no lip and no foot to take hold of, so it is moved by lifting the whole body, and that is worth trying before the position is settled.
Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. Most of it is the ripple ring. Three choices are open. The rings can be set out from a different point on the side or run more openly, and the body can be tinted. Give us a cylinder diameter and a cut height and it is made to them. Several ordered together are worked so that the spread of the rings agrees. The crate is built around the cut top and the ringed side, and one person should carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Rings spreading through a clear cylinder give our art furniture a side table; the ripple suits our organic sculptures, the solid column our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
