A whorl of clear resin, as deep as it is broad and almost as high: a cupped spiral that turns in on itself like a shell or a whirlpool and opens to one side. Its whole surface is made of close ridges that sweep round the spiral from the heart outward, and at the rim they break into scalloped points like the edge of a wave. It is colourless throughout, and every ridge catches the light.
A spiral is the most natural form there is, in shells, in water, in weather, and the challenge is to make one that reads clearly in a material with no colour. The answer is the ridges. They run in unbroken lines round the whorl, close together at the heart and spreading as they come out, so the spiral is drawn by them from every side. At the rim they are allowed to break into points, which stops the edge reading as a cut and gives it the movement of water. Clear resin lets a large form sit lightly in a room.
At 100cm it suits a floor position in a living room, a hall or a reception, or a broad table in a large room, somewhere it can be looked down into, since the spiral reads best from above. Put it against a plain dark ground or near a window, and let light fall across the ridges from one side. From the doorway it is a single swirling form; closer, the ridges and the scallops become the piece.
Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. A tint can be added, blue, amber or a smoky grey, rising from the heart and clearing at the rim, and the whorl can be made to another size or with its rim left plain. A tint at the heart deepens the spiral and makes its centre the first thing seen. It is delivered in a single crate, braced inside, and it takes two people with a trolley to carry it in and place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A spiral turning in on itself belongs with our organic sculptures; colourless ridges catching the light lead to our resin sculptures, and a strong clear whorl for a reception joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
