The Clear Resin Slab Bench on Brown Timber Blocks is a 250cm bench carrying a 15cm clear resin seat on two solid timber blocks. The resin is cast with a rippled core that runs the length of the slab, so the seat holds movement inside the material while its outer faces stay flat and smooth to the touch.
The seat of this clear resin bench is a single pour. The ripple is formed inside the resin as it cures rather than cut into the surface afterwards, which is why it reads as depth rather than as texture, and why no two seats carry the same pattern. The faces are then ground flat and polished to clarity. The legs are solid brown timber blocks, cut square and oil-finished so the grain stays open, and stainless steel straps wrap the slab at each leg to take the load without a through-bolt breaking the clear body.
Seat height is 45cm, which suits an entrance hall, a dining room, a gallery, a showroom or a wide landing. The clear seat keeps sightlines open across a room in a way a timber bench cannot, while the blocks give it enough visual weight to hold a large space. It sits well with walnut, brass, natural linen and pale plaster. Indoor use only.
Production takes approximately seven to nine weeks, with the resin cure and the flatting stage setting the pace. Alternative spans are offered, as are alternative timbers - oak, walnut and stained ash - and the straps can be supplied blackened instead of polished. The ripple density can be specified coarse or fine. A 250cm slab is a two-person lift and does not corner tightly, so we confirm access before despatch and ship with the legs detached in a purpose-built crate. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
There is more in our art furniture collection, alongside our resin pieces and our organic range.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
