Description

Colourless from the bowl at its foot to the tip of its tallest spike, this cast resin splash stands on a round black marble base. One broad arm sweeps up from the bowl in a wide curve and runs across the top as a band pierced with oval openings, and from that band a stem climbs into a branching crown: a tall slender spike with short rounded twigs at its root, and an arched branch, a small spike on its back, that bends down again to rejoin the band. On the far side a low spray leans out beyond the marble and ends in three upturned fingers.

Clear Spray Drawn in Highlight Above Black Marble

With no tint anywhere, the splash is drawn entirely by its own edges. Each rounded rim and fingertip carries a bright line of highlight, the hollows fall away into soft greys, and the oval openings in the band read as clean shapes against whatever stands behind them. The black marble does the rest: under the clear bowl it darkens the fingers there so they stand out sharply, while the crown is seen against the room and stays pale and silvery. The surfaces are glossy throughout, and the twigs of the crown finish in rounded tips.

In a hallway, on a landing or in a large living room, its 144cm with the base puts the branches level with the shoulders of anyone standing beside it. A dark floor or a deep-coloured wall behind it sharpens the clear outline, while against pale plaster the splash grows quieter and the black stone leads. Leave space on every side, because the spray reaches well beyond the stone. Indoor use only.

Tinting to Order, the Crown and the Crate

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The price covers the splash with its round black marble base, sold as one piece. As a commission the resin can take a tint of your choosing, all through or graded up from the bowl, the crown can be given extra branches or fewer, and a lighter marble can be chosen for the base. It is crated with the crown and the spray braced apart and the base boxed separately, and on site the base is levelled first and the splash lowered onto it by the bowl. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Clear spray thrown up into a crown of branches over black marble is gathered with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
