Description

Pressed flowers and leaves lie flat within this clear resin panel, arranged like a page from a botanist's herbarium. The mix varies, drawing on papery petals in yellow, cream, orange or violet, leaves in russet, olive and deep brown, fern fronds and fine sprays of seed heads and grasses. The panel itself is thick, with polished faces and edges, and it is sold individually.

A Herbarium Page Held in Clear Resin

High-clarity resin gives the panel water-clear faces and deep, glassy edges that gleam along every side. The botanicals are pressed thin, so each petal and leaf keeps its outline, its veins and the fine hairs along its stalk, and some are delicate enough for one to show through another where they overlap. Any fern keeps the crisp ladder of its leaflets, and seed sprays stay as fine as lace. Since every flower and frond is a natural specimen, the selection, the colours and the composition change from panel to panel, and yours will be its own.

Stood upright on a bookshelf, a mantelpiece or a desk, it reads like a small framed botanical print, and it can equally lie flat on a coffee table to be looked down into. Daylight from a window behind makes the petals and leaves glow like specimens held up against a pane, while lamplight in the evening warms their browns and yellows. Indoor use only.

One Botanical Panel, Commissions and Delivery

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. A single panel is supplied for the price, sold individually, and its botanicals are a mixed selection that varies with each one made. As a bespoke commission the panel can be filled with a single kind of flower, with ferns and leaves alone or with a palette of your choosing, and it can be cast in other proportions. Each panel is wrapped, padded at the corners and boxed flat for its journey to you. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
