A pool of clear water has just been struck: its rim throws up petal-like flares and spikes, three drips fall from beneath it, one short and the rest drawn out to beaded points, and a pointed arm reaches out from its side to end in a small round drop. From the pool a stream rises and swings away in a long curve, broadening into a rippled sheet with a few small droplets springing from its edge, then thinning into a slender tail that bends over into a hook at its very end. It is cast in clear resin and colourless throughout.
Two kinds of water meet in this piece. At the pool everything is broken: the rim splits into flares and spikes, the drips stretch away beneath it, and the surface is crumpled with small ridges that catch the light. Along the stream the water calms into one smooth movement, broadening into a glassy sheet and then drawing out into a tail fine enough to curl over at its tip. Because the resin is untinted, the change is read entirely through the surface, busy and glittering at one end, long and quiet at the other.
Its sweep from pool to hook needs room on every side, so it suits a reception, a gallery or the open end of a long living room, where the stream can be followed from its broken start to its curled finish and walked round. A dark ground behind brings out every edge of the clear resin, and a lamp angled in from beside it catches the spikes, the drips and the droplets along the sheet. Indoor use only.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The order is for this one splash alone. Commissioned, it can be tinted, gathered deep in the pool and clearing along the stream, the tail can be curled further over at its hook, and the flares round the pool can be lengthened or held in tight. Move it with the pool supported from beneath and the stream steadied at its broad middle, never taking its weight by the tail, a drip or the pointed arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A struck pool of clear water that sends a stream curling off to a hooked tail finds room among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
