A colourless range polished to a full gloss, with several peaks gathered toward the left and a long tail of ridge running out to the right. Nothing is added to the resin, so the polished faces and the shadows between them make up the whole of what is seen. No base comes with it; it rests on its own foot.
With no tint and no inclusion, a clear range has only its surface to work with, and polish is what turns that surface into drawing. Every face returns a highlight and every hollow holds a shadow, so the peaks are outlined in light rather than in colour. The faces are cut in long, decided planes for that reason: a small facet would scatter the reflections into glitter, while a long one carries a single bright line down the mountain, and the carving shows most exactly where nothing else competes with it.
A polished clear piece takes on whatever surrounds it, so the setting matters. Against a dark wall the edges light up and the range reads at once; against a pale or busy one it can almost disappear. A console or a credenza facing into the room, rather than into a window, keeps the reflections calm and the outline legible.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Leaf can be scattered through it, the whole body can take a tint, and the surface can be frosted instead of polished, which turns it from glass into ice. Another length of range is cast to order, with the tail stretched or tucked in to suit. It goes out in a padded box with the tail of the ridge supported along its run, and one person can lift it clear. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A polished clear range with nothing added belongs with our organic sculptures; its water-white body places it in our resin sculptures, and light caught along each bright edge in a darkened room suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
