A pine with its branches carried out almost horizontally, each cluster made of individual needles rather than a single mass. Colourless throughout, the needle clusters reading palest because each one is a hundred thin points rather than a mass. Nothing is supplied under it: the root mass is cut level and the pine stands on that.
The piece is a horizon rather than a tree, being wider than it stands, and the needle clusters are spaced to be read end to end instead of trunk to crown. Every cluster is drawn with its own gap around it, so the canopy stays a set of separate events rather than closing up into one pale band. Drawing a needle cluster in a clear body means each needle gives back its own edge of light, so a cluster of them reads as a pale cloud rather than as a solid. Polished along every branch, and the needles are left crisp at their tips rather than eased.
This is floor work for a wide space, since it is the plan and not the height that decides what it needs. Any plain wall will do at its back. At this width, what is behind it is carrying as much of the effect as the pine is. One side lit and every needle cluster goes at once; square-on light returns a flat grey canopy and nothing more. It reads as a horizon from across a lobby and as a hundred separate needles from beneath it.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The branch count can be opened, the span can be drawn in, and the needle clusters can be spaced differently along the branches. Draw the span in and the branch count comes down with it, because the clusters keep their own spacing rather than being crowded to hold the full width. The trunk is installed first and the outer branches are added to it, which is about an hour on site. Four people. Nothing here is heavy and everything is long. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear pine whose branches run out almost flat belongs to our organic sculptures; needle clusters drawn one at a time join our resin sculptures, and an atrium wide enough for its span holds it among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
