This bowl opens wide and sits low, so it reads as a single flowerhead laid flat. Ribbed petals radiate from a densely textured centre and widen to a lobed rim that rises and falls around the circumference. The whole form is carried on a short, craggy foot no wider than the centre boss, and the foot stands on a small square block of clear resin.
Every rib runs the full distance from the centre boss out to the rim without a break, and the ribs are not equal: they vary in width and in depth around the circuit, so the petals read as a flower rather than as a machined rosette. The centre is worked to a dense, crinkled texture that holds the eye where the ribs converge, and the foot below is worked the same way, craggy as broken ice. The resin is a high-clarity casting grade, and the whole bowl is polished inside and out, so the ribs stay legible from directly above and from a seated position underneath. Where the petals overlap at the rim the clear body picks up a faint grey, and that is the only shading anywhere on it.
A bowl of this diameter is a floor or console piece rather than a table one. It takes the middle of a wide console, a low plinth in a hall, or the floor beside a stair where it can be looked down into, and it sits well below eye level from a standing position. Left empty it works as a cast form; filled with a single layer of fruit or cut stems it becomes a working dish, and the foot and its block lift the underside clear so the ribs stay legible from a seated position. Indoor use only.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. A span of clear resin this wide is stiff rather than strong, and how it is moved matters. It ships in a fitted crate, bowl uppermost, and it is lifted by two people with both hands under the foot and the bowl kept level throughout, never carried tilted and never taken by the rim, which is the thinnest edge on the piece and the first thing to catch a doorframe. Set it down on a level surface: on an uneven console a bowl this wide will rock on two corners of its block instead of bearing on the whole of it. It is supplied as the bowl, its foot and the square block beneath, so any plinth or console to raise it is yours to provide, with a flat top at least as wide as the block. Alternative tints are available from the studio range, and the rim can be specified with a shallower lobe or cut level for a plainer edge. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Laid out like an open flowerhead, this piece is filed with our organic sculptures; as a working dish it also counts among our art furniture, and its clear casting among our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
