A leafy tree whose trunk leans and carries its branches out to both sides, so the crown reaches further across than the tree stands. Colourless everywhere, with the leaves catching more light than the branches that carry them. There is no base: the trunk is cut flat at the floor and stands on that.
Past a spread equal to the height the roots stop holding the tree down and start balancing it, and this one crosses that line by eight hundredths. Every branch is drawn against the one opposite it for that reason, and no two sides of the crown run to the same length. What the material does here is separate the leaves from the air: each is thin enough to hold a bright rim, and the rim is the only thing marking where one ends. Polished the whole way out to the leaf tips, which are left crisp rather than eased.
A landing or a wide room, and it is the spread that has to be found rather than the height. It needs a dark wall behind it, or the canopy reads as a bright haze with no branches in it. One source high and to the side puts the branching into relief; anything flatter loses it. The spread is what the eye gets at a distance; the leaves wait until you are close.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. Ask us to bring the spread in, to thin the leaves, or to set the trunk at another lean. Bring the spread in and the branching thins with it, since the branches keep their spacing instead of crowding. Two crates and an assembly where it stands, the trunk raised before the outer branches go on. Three people, and measure the doorways first: the branches meet a frame long before the weight is felt. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A leafy clear tree spreading wider than it stands belongs to our organic sculptures; its lean and its leaves join our resin sculptures, and more for a landing with room to spread is in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
