Description

A broad crown flares out over a narrow, twisting stem on this clear resin rock. It parts into two glassy lobes with a cleft between them, one sweeping out to the side and one swelling round and full, and both are so clear that the eye goes straight into them. The stem below is rougher, faceted and crystalline, and flakes of a dark olive-khaki, with a warmer amber one among them, are held through the crown and stem.

Two Clear Lobes Spreading From a Twisted Stem

Across the crown the imported clear resin is polished to a high clarity, so the lobes read almost like water held in a shape, and the cleft between them is sharp-edged. Down the stem the faces stay faceted and frosty, which makes the crown seem to float above it. The flakes are flat and angular and they sit at different depths, so turning the rock brings new ones into view. No two crowns flare to the same outline, and the flakes never repeat their positions.

At 44cm the flared crown needs clear space at both sides, which a sideboard gives it, as does a broad desk or a console. Placed a little below standing eye level, it lets you look into the clear lobes rather than down on them, and its outline reads cleanly against a bare, light-coloured wall. Indoor use only.

Clarity, Flake Colour and Getting It Home

Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The crown can be polished clear all over or frosted in part, and the flakes can be made more numerous, kept to a handful or left out entirely. Sizes other than this one are made on request. It is sold as one piece. Delivery is in a fitted crate; carry it by the stem and the body below the crown, never by either lobe, since the edges of the cleft are fine. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
