Clear Monumental Twisting Splash Resin Sculpture (373cm) on a black marble base, twisting water-like form with a curling crest, shown against a plain white background.
Clear Monumental Twisting Splash Resin Sculpture - 373cm $74,55800
Description

This clear resin splash is built on a monumental scale and stands on a black marble base. From a short foot that forks into two twisting limbs, the water flings outward into a broad sheet that spins round the piece, its edges torn into long fingers and droplets, and above it a crest curls over to one side. It is colourless throughout, and its spread makes it a piece for a large public or private space.

A Stem of Water Flung Out Into a Spinning Sheet

At this scale a splash has to hold together as architecture as well as read as water. The stem forks low into two narrow, twisting limbs, which gives the whole mass a sense of rotation, and the sheet they throw out spins round them in one continuous band, so the piece reads as a single gesture from any side. The fingers and droplets at the edges are drawn long and fine, trailing in the direction of the spin, and the crest above turns the movement back on itself. Clear resin at this size shows the depth of every fold.

At 373cm on its base it is a piece for an atrium, a hotel or corporate lobby, a large entrance hall or a covered sculpture court, somewhere it is visible from far off and can be approached from all sides. It needs generous clear floor and height above it. Daylight from high windows, or a wash of light from above, makes the spinning sheet sparkle, and a dark floor or wall around it sharpens the clear resin. It is the kind of piece a space is organised around.

Scale, Tint and Installation

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The splash is made to whatever height a particular space needs, the forked stem can take a tint that fades out into the sheet, and the base can be enlarged or cut in another stone. A tinted stem gives the rotation a visible core. It travels in several crates with the crest and the sheet braced, and the route in and the floor it will stand on should be checked before it arrives. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A clear splash forking from its foot into a spinning sheet and a hooked, curling crest belongs among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
