Water-clear resin with no tint forms this armchair, so it reads like a chair-shaped piece of ice. The hoop of the back curves forward into the arms and trails rounded drips, the longest falling until it meets the seat. Shaped like a leaf, the seat is traced with a fine pattern of white veins that stand out against the clear body. Four irregular legs, thick and rippled, stand beneath it.
Without colour the chair is all reflection and outline. The drips, the hoop and the legs show as bright edges and grey shadows, and their shapes change as you move round them. The white veining in the seat is the only marking, a network as fine as the skeleton of a leaf, and it gives the eye something to settle on. Seen from the side, the leaf's point dips past the front rail, and the drips at the back hang at different lengths. No seam or join shows anywhere on the frame.
At 74cm it sits comfortably at a dining or writing table, and it can just as well stand by itself as a sculpture. Because it has no colour, it takes on the tones of whatever is near it, so a plain wall and floor keep the drips legible. A cushion makes the veined seat more comfortable. Indoor use only.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. Left clear, the chair is pure outline, though a tint can be added if you prefer colour. The white veining can be kept, made bolder, or left out so the seat is clear throughout. The drips are adjustable in length, and the central one can be removed for an open back. Height and width are set to suit your table. Chairs bought together are made at the same time so they match. It is boxed whole with the drips cushioned. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Ice-clear and dripping, this armchair is listed with our art furniture; the irregular melting form puts it beside our organic sculptures, and the untinted resin beside our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
