A slab of clear resin forms the top of this console, its upper face sunk into a soft molten hollow that pours down at one end into a single drip leg tapering to the floor. The other end rests on a plain white upright panel, which comes with the console and gives it a square, quiet side to set against the flowing one.
The drip leg is shaped to flow out of the underside of the slab, so it looks like the slab itself running down to the floor and narrowing as it goes. The hollow in the top is worked to a smooth, glassy dip and polished, which is the slow part, since a molten surface shows every pass of the work. The leg ends in a small round foot faced flat, and the white panel at the other end is squared and set true, so the slab sits level along its whole length.
Set it against a wall in a hall or an entrance, with the white panel towards a corner and the clear leg out where it can be seen. The molten hollow in the top is the point of the piece, so it wants light from above or from the side rather than a lamp standing on it. The drip leg bears on a small foot, so a hard level floor suits it. Indoor use only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. Any length can be made, the hollow in the top can be drawn deeper or shallower, and the slab can be tinted. The white panel can be painted another colour if the wall behind calls for it. Consoles ordered together are worked so their hollows match in depth. The slab and the panel travel in separate crates, padded round the drip leg, and two people set the console up. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear slab poured down into one drip leg gives our art furniture a console; the melting form suits our organic sculptures, its glassy body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
