Description

A single clear ridge cast long and low, its crest lifting gently into one modest summit a little left of centre and running out almost flat at either end. The casting is glassy and smooth, with soft undulations along the crest rather than sharp peaks, and from the front it reads as a skyline drawn in one stroke. From front to back it is barely thicker than a book.

One Clear Ridge, Drawn in a Single Line

A ridge this low is modelled almost entirely in its crest. With the casting only a few centimetres deep there is no mass to carry the form, so the line along the top does the work: it rises, dips and rises again in soft undulations, and the one summit is placed off centre so that the eye travels the whole length rather than stopping in the middle. The faces are smoothed rather than cut, and in clear resin every swell of the surface catches a thin edge of light; lit from behind, the whole ridge glows along its outline.

Its length and slimness suit a long shelf, a sideboard or the front of a console, and it is shallow enough to stand before books or framed pictures without hiding them. Set it with a window or a lamp at its back, so that the crest takes the light; on a dark surface the clear ridge reads at its sharpest. It is a quiet horizon, most at home where a room already has things to look at.

Drawn Longer or Tinted, and Packed Flat

Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The crest can be drawn longer with a second summit or kept to one, and the resin tinted in ocean blue, moss green or honey, or graded from clear at the ends to colour at the summit. Set end to end, two ridges make a longer horizon along a deep shelf. It travels in a slim padded carton, laid flat, and is simply lifted out by its base and stood in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A crest drawn in one stroke belongs with our organic sculptures; a clear ridge barely deeper than a book suits our resin sculptures, and a skyline with one low summit joins our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
