A colourless crown almost as deep as it is wide, standing on a plan a little over a hand's span each way. Its arms leave the cup at very different angles: a long pair leans far out together to one side and runs well past all the rest, others stand nearly upright, one bends through an S, and short cross-pieces tie several of them into a loose lattice. It stands directly on the surface with nothing beneath it.
With no long side in plan, the piece has no obvious front, and nothing about the arms settles one either. A long pair of arms leaves one edge of the cup and climbs well beyond everything else, while the rest rise straight, bend or are joined by little bridges of resin into an open lattice, so the outline changes completely as you move round it. On a piece with a front, the back can be simpler; here every side is the front, and an arm that was drawn quickly shows from a quarter of the positions in a room rather than from none. It is worked on a turntable for that reason, and no side is finished before the others.
With no long side and a different outline from every direction, it wants the centre of a table rather than its edge. Dining tables, round hall tables and islands all suit it, and a shelf against a wall wastes three quarters of what it does. At 36cm it can sit among other things rather than needing a space of its own, and it stays low enough not to block a sightline across a table, which is the usual objection to putting sculpture there.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The long pair of arms can be drawn out further or kept nearer the others, and the little bridges between the arms added to or left out. The height is drawn to order, colour is taken into the cup alone, and the arms are made fewer and heavier. A version at twice this size keeps the same proportions and becomes a floor piece rather than a table one. It comes in a single lined box with every arm faced, and the cup is the place to hold it when it is set down; there is nothing to fit. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A crown with no long side is organic sculpture read from everywhere; the body is resin sculpture; and a table piece is indoor sculpture by definition.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
