One broad arm carries this colourless splash high above everything else on it, while the fingers around it stop not far past halfway. The leading arm is drawn broad and flat and leans off the vertical as it climbs, finishing in a fork of one long finger and one short, beaded prong; the others are narrow, a branch on one side leaning out and forking at its tip and a cluster rising on the other. Nothing on the piece is tinted, and it stands on the block of black marble it comes with.
A splash with one arm clearly ahead of the others only works if the gap in height is decisive. Bring the next finger up too close and the two compete and the piece has no subject; hold the others too far down and the leading arm looks as though it grew out of something unrelated. Here the next finger stops a little past half the leader's height, which is far enough to settle the question and near enough that they still read as the same water. The lean matters as much as the height, because a leaning arm above a crowd of upright ones looks like a fault rather than a movement unless it plainly leads them.
The leading arm is what is read, so it needs a plain ground at the height it reaches. Against a bookcase or a gallery wall the line of it is broken by whatever is behind and the piece loses its one gesture; against plaster or a window it holds. It takes very little surface, and at 82cm with its stone it suits a console, a narrow plinth or the end of a sideboard where a broader piece would crowd.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. One arm stands well clear of the rest, so the gap between them is the design. The gap is drawn to order, a second arm is brought up to match, and a tint is run through the foot. Bringing the second arm level makes a symmetrical piece rather than adding to this one, which is worth knowing before asking for it. It ships standing, the marble crated on its own and the leading arm sleeved down its whole length, and the splash is lowered onto the stone where it will stay. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear splash carried high on one broad, leaning arm above its forked fingers is placed among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
