Four dried seed heads hang one above another inside this narrow, upright resin block, tilted at different angles as though tumbling slowly downwards. Every head is a papery crown of pointed, tawny-orange segments veined in brown, cupped in a lacy net of pale cream fibres and finished with a short, straw-coloured stalk.
Polished smooth on its faces and sharp along its edges, the high-clarity resin block lets each seed head be studied from several sides. The crowns are as thin as parchment, so their brown veins show clearly against the tawny ground, and the segments curve together towards their pointed tips. Beneath them the fibre net is a delicate open mesh, almost like lace, which stays crisp right down to the stalk. Because every seed head dries in its own way, the colours and the shape of each net differ from block to block.
This slender block suits a narrow spot, such as a bedside table, a mantelpiece or a study desk, and it makes a curious talking point in a calm, minimal room. At 18cm it fits neatly on a bookshelf between books or beside a lamp. Daylight from a nearby window brings out the veins in the crowns, while a dark wall makes the pale nets stand out. Indoor use only.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. Each block is sold on its own, priced for one, and made when your order is placed. A bespoke version could hold a single seed head, a column of five, or heads mixed with dried grasses, and it can be produced at another height or in different proportions. It is cushioned in foam within a slim box and can be displayed as soon as it is unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Papery seed heads in their lace-like nets make this slim block a natural choice for our indoor sculptures, as well as our resin sculptures and our abstract sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
