Description

From a narrow, frosted stem this clear resin rock opens into a split crest. On one side a tall, angular slab leans outwards, its flat top edge sloping up to a point; on the other a rounded, faceted lobe pushes out, and a deep notch divides the two. The broad faces of the crest are smooth and glassy while the stem glitters with a sugary texture, and a sparse scatter of dull olive-khaki flakes and thin khaki slivers is held in the resin.

Glassy Wings Above a Sugared Stem

Two surfaces sit side by side in this imported clear resin: broad faces left smooth enough to see straight into, and passages of fine crystalline texture that glitter like frost on a window. The flakes are few and lie far apart, a muted olive-khaki with a fine grain, and the slivers among them are thin, some straight and some bent, so each one is seen on its own rather than as part of a cloud. The outline of the crest and the scatter of flakes are never repeated, which leaves every rock singular.

At 43cm its split crest rises clear of a console or a sideboard and stays in proportion on the corner of a wide desk or a low cabinet in a study. Set it where the glassy wings show against a plain wall, with daylight reaching it from the side to make the frosted stem sparkle, and leave room around it for the crest to be seen from both sides. Indoor use only.

A Thicker Scatter, a Sparser One, or None

A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The flakes can be set more thickly through the crest or kept to a sparse few, or left out so that the resin stays pure and clear. It can be ordered at other heights as well. This is a single rock, priced on its own. It is packed into a made-to-measure crate and is lifted with one hand under the stem and one at the body, never by either wing. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A split crest of glassy wings over a frosted stem belongs to our abstract sculptures; its olive-khaki flakes tie it to our resin sculptures, and as a console piece it suits our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
