A glass sculpture of clustered spheres massed into an upright column that narrows towards its top, needing no base. The spheres run through six or seven diameters and the fine ones fill the gaps between the broad, so there is no straight line anywhere in the piece and no gap wide enough to see through. Each sphere carries an iridescent bloom that returns pale blue with a little amber, and each one also carries a highlight and the reflections of its neighbours.
The small spheres matter as much as the broad ones. Equal spheres would stack into rows and read as a pile; spheres of many diameters let the cluster swell, narrow and swell again, and the fine ones are set where two broad curves meet, so the eye travels across the joins instead of stopping at them. That is why the diameters run through six or seven sizes rather than two or three. It also decides how the piece is made: every sphere is blown and then selected, because a cluster needs particular diameters in particular quantities and a sphere a few millimetres out will not seat against its neighbours. The sorting is most of the work.
At 80cm it wants the floor or a broad plinth beneath it, never a table top. A cluster has no front, so it can stand clear of the walls entirely: in the middle of a room, on a wide hearth, or on a plinth people can walk right round. Put it where the light comes from behind. Iridescence needs something behind it to work against, and a window or a lamp beyond the piece lights every sphere from the back at once, whereas a light in front of it returns a field of hard white highlights and little else.
Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. Sorting paces this build: the spheres are blown first and then matched to the cluster, and a batch that comes out a few millimetres from the sizes needed cannot be used. Overall scale, the range of diameters and the bloom are drawn per commission, so a version massed wider than it is high, one worked in fewer and broader spheres, or a pair at graded heights all come from this design. The bloom is chosen at order between this pale blue, a warm amber and a clear glass with no bloom at all. It is lifted from beneath, by the broad spheres at its foot, and set straight down, never taken up by the narrow top of the column. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Glass spheres of many diameters massed into one iridescent column belong among our organic sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
