A faceted gem in clear acrylic, made to hang: a block cut into broad planes that rise to a single point at the top and close below in a faceted underside. Its dichroic film throws a changing play of colour across the clear faces, pink and magenta on one side, amber and red on another, green and lilac where the planes meet, and because the faces are clear, the far planes and their edges show through the near ones.
A gem that hangs is seen from below and from every side, and this one is cut for it: its planes are broad enough to hold one colour of the film across each, and there is no back to it, because every face is a front from somewhere in the room. Seen through its clear faces, the planes behind add their own colours and edges to those in front, so the block reads in layers, a pink face laid over a green one, an amber edge crossing a lilac plane. The point at the top gathers all the planes to one place, and the faceted underside, closing below, gives the eye somewhere to finish.
It is made to hang, so it wants clear air round it and below it: over a stair, in a double-height hall, above a dining space or in a tall window, where people look up into it as well as across at it. Daylight moving across it through the day changes which faces carry which colour, so a place near a window suits it, and it wants a plain background, since the far planes are part of the picture.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. Every commission fixes its own size, cut and film, so a version with fewer, broader faces, a block filmed only in cooler blues and violets, or one made to another size can come from this design. The film can also be kept to alternate faces, so that every second plane stays clear and the coloured ones stand out against it. It is raised with both palms flat beneath the faceted underside, never taken by the point at the top, and steadied until it hangs free. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear gem of broad iridescent planes made to hang, it sits with our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
