This piece carries the forepart of a horse only: a lowered head, a neck bowed in an arc and a mane that stands up along the crest, with one foreleg lifted and the other stretched down. The horse stops behind the shoulder, and the clear resin sits on a tall black marble block that comes with it and raises the gesture well above the floor.
The horse is cut off behind the shoulder along the line of the muscle, so the ending looks chosen rather than broken. That end face is worked rather than polished bright, which keeps attention at the head. Along the crest each strand of mane is freed from its neighbours and finished on both sides. Below, the marble block is deep and unornamented, a dark weight that lets the clear horse above it read as pure light. No two castings take the light in quite the same way.
At 150cm it stands on the floor, best seen side on so the bowed neck and the lifted leg make a single movement: set it along a wall in a hall or across a long room rather than in a corner. With daylight behind it the clear body fills with light over the dark marble. Leave space in front of the lowered head, which is where the movement goes.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The ending can be moved back towards the full horse, and the marble block can be white, grey or black, its depth set at order. The resin can be tinted amber, smoke or green, or frosted instead of polished. Horse and block share one fitted crate and go together on site; two people lift the horse with their hands under its chest, never at the head. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A horse's forepart raised on a marble block belongs with our horse sculptures; a bowed neck over a lifted foreleg leads to our animal sculptures, and clear resin above dark stone joins our resin sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
