A flat ribbon of colourless resin set on end and filled with torn flakes of gold leaf, densest in the upper loops and along the stem. A pair of openings sits high in the ribbon, with a slot below them and an oval near the foot. Black marble, supplied with it, takes the foot of the ribbon.
Leaf in this quantity changes what the clear body is for. Instead of a window it becomes a setting, holding hundreds of flat, torn flakes at every depth, and its four openings are the only places where the eye passes through without meeting gold. The flakes are torn and set by hand, and no two castings hold them alike; some catch the light face on and flash, others turn their edge and nearly vanish, so the piece glitters differently from every position in the room.
Under warm light a console or a sideboard shows it best, and at 83cm on its base it rises to the eye of anyone standing near it. Against dark panelling the flakes burn brightest; a white wall lets the eye run through the clear resin. Being shallow, it can stand near the wall and keep every opening clear.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The leaf can be thinned to a scatter or kept as dense as here, and it can be silver or copper rather than gold, copper being the warmer of the two in a timber room. A faint colour can be added to the resin. The marble under it can be changed for a lighter stone. It is packed in foam shaped to the ribbon with the marble in its own compartment, and it is lifted round the stem and the body together. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear ribbon filled with torn gold leaf sits among our abstract sculptures; four openings left free of the flakes join it to our organic sculptures, and gold flaked through the full thickness of the ribbon ranks with our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
