Description

Two mountain ranges in clear resin are sold together as one set: a long range whose summit stands left of centre and falls away in a long ridge to the right, and a compact range that rises to a single rounded peak. Flakes of gold leaf are held all through the resin of both, so the gold hangs in the clear body like light caught in ice. Each stands on its own flat foot, and nothing is supplied beneath either.

Gold Leaf Held in Two Clear Ranges

The flakes sit at every depth and every angle: some lie flat to the light and flash, others are caught edge on and read as fine gold lines. Both ranges are solid, and that weight of clear material is what lets the gold be seen far inside the body rather than only at the surface. The slopes are modelled into soft folds and gullies before every face is polished, so light runs down each ridge and pools in the hollows between them, and no two castings place the gold in the same way.

The long range asks for a room of size, a lobby, a gallery or a wide hall, where it can be taken in whole from across the floor and then walked beside. The compact range can stand in front of it as a foothill or be set apart in the same room, so the two answer each other across the space. Side light from a window wakes the gold, and a dark wall behind the pair makes the clear resin read.

Two Ranges, the Gold Leaf and Delivery

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The two can be made as a matching pair of one size, or with the gold set heavier toward the summits, and either can be tinted a soft grey or a pale aqua instead of left clear. Silver leaf can take the place of gold. Each range travels in its own crate cut to its outline and bedded along its whole foot; the long one needs several people to set it in place and a clear route for its length. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Two clear ranges with gold held inside belong with our organic sculptures; solid resin flecked with leaf suits our resin sculptures, and a frozen skyline across a lobby joins our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
