Two colourless peaks with gold leaf gathered along the foot. The gold sits in a broken band low in both peaks, so it reads as ore rather than as snow. The higher peak rises at the back and the second steps down in front of it. Above the first few centimetres the material is clear and stays clear the whole way to both summits.
The same flake means two different things depending where it sits. High in a casting it reads as light on snow; gathered along the foot it reads as ore in the rock, which is the older and the quieter idea and is the one this piece is after. It also asks more of the pour, because gold is heavier than the resin and wants to settle further than it should - loading the foot deliberately means stopping it at a line rather than letting it find the bottom, and that line is what is checked on every casting.
It is desk scale and the interest is at the bottom, so it wants a surface at or below the eye rather than a high shelf. On a desk or a low table the gold at the foot is in view; on a tall bookcase it is hidden by the lip of the shelf and the piece reads as two plain clear peaks. It needs very little surface, and it is heavy for its size.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The gold is gathered along the foot rather than caught at the summits, which reads as ore instead of snow. The flake is moved up into the peaks, the density is raised or dropped, and a tint is carried through the body. Moving it up gives the familiar reading and is worth seeing beside this one before choosing. It is sent in a small lined box bedded round the whole outline, and one hand takes it out by the base. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Twin peaks with their gold laid low belong with our organic sculptures; leaf held along a clear foot puts them in our resin sculptures, and ore read at the base of a desk piece suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
