Clear Gold Fleck Twin Arm Splash Resin Sculpture, 115cm, two wave-like arms rising in a V with gold flecks concentrated at the tips, on a black base against a plain white background.
Clear Gold Fleck Twin Arm Splash Resin Sculpture - 115cm $3,86600
Description

Two colourless arms rise in a wide V from a low trough, with gold-toned flakes caught in the resin rather than a tint carried through it. The flakes are crinkled and bright, crowded thickly into the upper reaches of both arms and scattered sparsely down into the trough, so the piece warms as it climbs. One arm leans far out and runs well past the other, which breaks into short, spiky fingers, and a small branched spray stands up in the middle of the trough. The splash rests on a square block of black marble.

The Flecks Crowd Where the Material Thins

Flecks are not a tint and they do not behave like one. A tint reads by depth, so it goes weak exactly where the material thins; flecks read by count, so the same handful in a narrow arm looks far denser than it does through the body of the trough. The distribution is therefore laid out against the section rather than against the form: sparse where the piece is heavy, crowded where it is drawn fine, which is the reverse of how it looks when the flecks are spread evenly and the reason the top of each arm carries the warmth here. Each flake is crinkled and catches the light on its own, so the tips of the arms flicker as you walk past rather than glowing evenly.

The warmth is at the top of both arms, so the piece does more met from below than looked down on. Standing 115cm with its marble, it wants the floor or a shallow plinth, so that the flecked reaches come up to the eye of anyone seated and catch whatever light is in the room; on a tall console they are overhead and read as dark rather than warm. The arms spread far wider than the marble they rise from, so allow for their reach rather than for the stone.

Arm Height, the Marble Block and Lifting It

Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The gold-toned flakes gather where the arms are finest, which is where there is least material to carry them and where they count for most. On commission the arms can be drawn up further or set wider apart, and the small branched spray in the trough can be left out for a plainer centre. Lift the splash by the trough, with a hand under each side and never by either arm, and set it down squarely on the marble block. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Gold-toned flakes crowding the tips of two clear arms send this V of water to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
