This colourless cast resin splash is shot through with crinkled gold-toned flakes, crowded into its higher arm and into the little spur at the end of its rippled foot, and only sprinkled through the straighter arm. The two arms climb from opposite ends of the foot: one rises almost upright to a rounded, split tip, while the other sweeps up further, leans back over the space between them with a short rounded branch on its outer side, and ends in a fork. Two short fingers stand up between the arms, and the foot finishes in a small hooked spur.
Without colour, the gold is what the eye finds first. The flakes are crinkled, so they catch and lose the light in turn as you move, and they are not spread evenly: the higher arm carries a dense cluster near its fork and the spur at the end of the foot is thick with them, while the straight arm has only a sprinkling and the foot a loose scatter along its ripples. That unevenness makes the piece read like water thrown up with something bright caught in it rather than like a pattern, and the glassy surface adds a highlight of its own to every ripple and every rounded tip.
At 60cm it suits a study desk or a sideboard, where the fork of the higher arm comes to the eye of anyone seated and the opening between its two arms frames the wall beyond. A dark ground behind sharpens every edge and sets the gold off, and a lamp beside it makes the flakes flash as you pass. Indoor use only.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The order is for one splash, sold individually. On commission the two arms can be set further apart or brought closer together, the higher arm drawn further over at its tip, and the hooked spur at the end of the foot left off for a cleaner line. Take it by the foot in both hands, never by an arm or a finger, and stand it on a firm, level top. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two climbing arms of clear water shot through with crinkled gold give this rising splash its place in our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
