Description

Five summits rise along a polished colourless rock, with gold leaf flecked through the body. The surface is taken to a full polish rather than left matt, so the faces reflect as much as they transmit. Front to back it is slim, and it rests directly on the surface with no stand.

A Polished Face Shows the Room Back

A polished casting is partly a mirror, and a mirror shows whatever is in front of it. That is the condition this piece is modelled under: every face carries a reflection of the room laid over whatever is inside the material, and a shape that reads clearly on the bench can disappear entirely under a bright window. The answer is fewer changes of direction and bolder ones. Where a matt casting can afford a dozen small steps down a slope, this has four, each big enough that the reflection breaking across it still leaves the plane readable.

It reflects, so what stands in front of it matters as much as what stands behind. Facing a window it fills with sky and the gold disappears; facing into a room it picks up whatever is opposite, which is worth choosing rather than accepting. A shelf with a plain wall across from it is the simplest answer. It asks for a run of surface and very little depth, which most rooms already have spare.

Finish, Flake Density, and Getting It Home

Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. The faces are polished rather than left matt, so each one carries a reflection over the flake inside it. The surface is frosted instead, the flake is torn coarser or finer, and a tint is run through the body. Frosting it stops the reflections entirely and turns the same form into an opaque object, which is a real choice and not a finish detail. It goes out in one padded box with the whole skyline faced, and one person lifts it clear. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A polished range that shows the room back belongs with our organic sculptures; gold flecked under a mirrored skin places it in our resin sculptures, and reflections chosen across a room suit our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
