A colourless splash throws two wings out and up from a low trough, with gold-coloured flecks caught right through the casting. The two wings are unequal and the space between them is open from every side: one runs far out in a slender line of spiky fingers, the other is broader, pierced by an oval opening and tipped with a single upright finger, and a short curled tongue rises between them from the trough. It stands on the surface with no base beneath it.
This one is half again as wide as it is tall, and a form that spreads rather than rises has no single line for the eye to follow. What it has instead is the opening between the two wings, and the flecking is what keeps that opening from reading as empty: the scatter is carried up into the thinnest reaches of both wings so that the far one is caught through the gap and the space between them stays part of the object. Spread the flecks evenly and the wings go quiet at the tips, which is where the piece most needs them. It is judged from a pace away rather than over the casting.
It is wider than it is tall, so the width of the surface decides the position before anything else does. Its span overhangs most coffee tables, and a wing hanging past the edge invites a knock where the resin is finest. A sideboard, a long low shelf or a broad plinth all hold it. Set it where the opening between the wings has room behind it rather than a wall, since that gap is read through.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. With the space between the wings open from every side, the flecking has to carry the thin ends as well as the body, and here it runs all the way out into both wing tips. On commission the trough can take a tint, the span can be drawn out or brought in, and the two wings can be drawn to the same height, which makes a more formal object and loses most of the movement. Lift it with both hands under the trough, never by a wing, and set it down where nothing can catch the tips. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two unequal wings flung out of one trough, flecked gold from foot to tip, carry this clear splash into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
