A colourless peak carrying gold leaf so dense that the flake does the work of the modelling. The flake is densest across the foot and thins towards the summit. A single summit rises off centre with one shoulder beside it. It is small enough to sit in one hand, and nothing goes under it.
A mountain this small has no room for a modelled slope. Every face that a bigger casting would break into three or four planes is a single plane here, because anything finer would read as a chip rather than as a face - and a landscape made of flat planes is a paperweight. So the flake carries what the modelling cannot: it is laid in at a density a bigger casting would not take, which breaks each plane into something the eye reads as rock. The density is a function of the size, and the same loading on a piece three times the size would look gilded rather than mineral.
It sits in one hand and weighs what stone of that size would weigh, which is most of what it is for. A windowsill, a desk, the corner of a hall table or a shelf met at the eye all suit it, and it works among books without needing a clear space to itself. Light from behind sets the flake alight; light from the front leaves it dull gold.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. Here the gold does the work that carving does on a big mountain. The density is dropped, the flake is torn finer, and the peak is built at other sizes. Above this size the same loading stops reading as rock altogether, which is why the density and the scale are quoted together. It travels in one small padded box bedded round the outline, and one hand takes it out. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A small peak dense with gold belongs with our organic sculptures; flake standing in for modelling puts it in our resin sculptures, and a mountain held in one hand suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
