Description

Small gold-toned specks are dotted all through the clear resin of this cast splash, and a soft gold tone gathers in the cupped foot it rises from. From that foot a tall spire climbs on a slant, holed once near its middle and forked at the top into stubby fingers; a low arm runs out sideways and finishes in a rounded knob; and a long arm sweeps up the opposite way, throwing off fingers as it goes. A square-cut block of black marble carries the splash.

Gold-Toned Specks Through a Spire and Two Arms

The gold here is in small rounded specks rather than broad flakes, dotted singly through the spire and both arms and gathered more closely low down in the cupped foot, which itself takes on a soft, warm gold tone. Against a pale wall the specks read as points of warmth in clear water; above the black marble they turn brighter. Every finger finishes round rather than sharp, and the hole through the spire lets the eye pass straight through to the wall behind, so the splash reads as one burst thrown out from its foot.

Standing 106cm with its block, it wants open floor in a hallway or beside a broad stair, where the head of the spire stops just short of a standing adult's chest and the arms have room to spread. Set it against a plain wall so the outline stays crisp, and let a lamp or a window light it from one side to bring up the specks and the warm foot. Indoor use only.

The Spire, the Arms and Handling

Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The price covers the splash together with its square marble block. On commission the two arms can be swept out wider or drawn up steeper, the spire can lean at a sharper or gentler slant, and the rounded knob on the low arm can be made fuller or drawn out into fingers like the rest. Lift it by the cupped foot with a hand on each side, never by the spire or an arm, and place it on its block turned so the spire leans away from where people pass. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
