A crescent of clear resin tapering to a point at both ends, one point standing higher than the other, resting on the low point of its own curve with both points lifting free. The inner wall is stepped in concentric waves that follow the sweep from one point to the other, and the outer wall is left plain. Gold-toned flakes are scattered through the clear resin, gathered most thickly toward the rim and the two points. Nothing is supplied beneath it.
At this span the crescent has nowhere to hide a flat. It stands on the bottom of its sweep with both tips in the air, so the whole curve is on show and any slackness in it shows along the underside. The concentric steps cut into the inner wall are what make it legible: each one catches its own line of light, and a run of parallel lines is the most exacting test of a curve there is. They follow the sweep through the belly of the crescent and gather together as they run out into each point, so the eye is drawn along them to the tips.
A desk or a shelf suits it, ideally with a window behind, since a clear casting scattered with gold-toned flakes wants something bright behind it rather than in front. A dark surface underneath gives the clear curve an edge it loses on a pale one. Only the bottom of the curve touches the surface, and the two tips ride clear of it. The two points sit at different heights, so the crescent reads as tipped rather than symmetrical, and that is what stops it looking like a dish.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The gold-toned flakes are scattered more sparsely or taken out altogether, and the inner steps are cut deeper. It is repeated at other lengths, with the step count following the run rather than staying where it is. A version with the steps run right through to the outer face is made and reads as a much heavier object, since every face of the crescent then carries the waves. The flakes can also be gathered in a single band along the keel where a quieter piece is wanted. It travels in one box bedded under the sweep, and it comes out held from beneath the curve, never by either point. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two points with a sweep between them is the shape organic sculpture is named for, the flecks belong to resin sculpture, and anything read from a hand's distance is indoor sculpture shelf work.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
