This broad rock of clear resin is built in two tiers: a squarish shoulder at the left gives way, past a shallow notch, to a high crown that is broad and rounded on top and drops steeply away on the right. Its surface is rough and faceted all over, crazed with frosty white streaks and glinting with countless small planes, like a boulder rimed with hoar frost. It stands on a long, low base of black marble that comes with it.
Made in imported clear resin, the rock is rough, broken and frosted with white crazing on its faces, yet the resin between them remains bright enough to look into. The texture changes as you move around it, sparkling wherever the small planes catch the brightness of the room and turning grey and glassy in the hollows. Here and there a faint rusty thread shows deep inside, much as iron stains mark natural quartz. The base is a plain, smooth slab of black marble, longer and deeper than the rock, so a dark margin frames its foot on every side.
Its long, two-level outline is at home on a credenza, a sideboard or a broad console table, and it makes a strong piece on a reception desk, where it can be seen from either side. Polished black marble suits a room of dark furniture, while lamplight from the side makes the frosted planes sparkle and drops the notch between the tiers into shadow. Indoor use only.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. One rock on its marble base is supplied for the price, sold individually. On commission the crazing can be kept lighter for a clearer look, gold leaf or dried leaves can be added inside, and the marble can be exchanged for another stone; the rock itself can be scaled to suit your space. It is crated for delivery with the marble wrapped on its own, and the rock should be lifted from beneath, never by its crown. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A two-tier rock crazed like frost, on a long slab of black marble, joins our resin sculptures; its craggy silhouette suits our abstract sculptures, and a sideboard or a credenza makes room for it within our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
