A frosted colourless mass, nearly a cube, and the consequence is that it has no silhouette worth reading: from every angle it is a block with weather cut into it. Its broken faces give it the look of a lump of glacier ice pulled from a river, and nothing is added to the material.
Every range is read as an outline first. This is not: a body nearly as deep as it is wide means the eye never gets a profile, only a face, and a face has to be interesting at arm's length rather than across a room. So everything goes into the surface. It is worked over its entire area in fractures and planes of a size that still read at arm's length, and because there is no skyline to carry the object, an area left flat anywhere shows immediately as an unfinished patch rather than as a rest.
It is read close and it is heavy, so a low solid surface is the answer: a hearth, a broad plinth, the floor beside a chair. On a console at chest height the top face - which is most of what is worked - is out of sight. It needs real depth, which rules out most shelving, and the light is best from one side and low, so the fractures throw shadows across each other.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. It is nearly as deep as it is wide, so it has no outline and the surface does all of the work. The face is polished instead of frosted, a tint is run through the material, and gold leaf is flecked into it. Polishing it turns a matt mass into a transparent one and changes the piece entirely, which is the comparison to make first. It travels in one heavy crate bedded on every face, and three people move it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted boulder with no skyline belongs with our organic sculptures; fractures cut over every face join it to our resin sculptures, and a heavy piece read close beside a chair suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
