This cast resin sculpture leans forward from the hips, and its arms are not cut off but hewn back into the body until they are ridges on the flanks rather than limbs. There is no gold leaf and no tint: the resin is entirely colourless, so what you see is the set of cut planes catching light and the edges between them drawing the form. Wider at the shoulder than at the base, it stands on a small ground foot.
With no leaf and no colour, the planes are the whole piece, and that raises the standard on every one of them. A facet left with a tool mark in it goes grey and reads as a flaw rather than a texture, so each face is flatted and then polished to the same grade, including the ones that will end up against a wall. The edges are the other half of the work: they are the only lines in the object, and a sharp arris in clear resin reads bright against the faces either side of it, which is what makes a colourless piece visible at all. The forward lean is set by grinding the foot off square, found on the finished piece rather than moulded in.
A colourless piece disappears against a pale surface, which is the one thing worth knowing before choosing a spot: on white it becomes an outline, on a dark timber or a stone surface it lifts straight out. The forward lean gives it a front, so turn the lean into the room. It belongs on a shelf, a desk or a windowsill instead of the floor, and it works as the quiet member of a group beside the gold-flecked ones.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. A tint through the body is offered in a smoke, an amber, a green or a soft blue, and gold, silver or copper leaf can be set into the casting if the plain version is too quiet. Plane depth is open, from these broad faces to a finer cut closer to a modelled figure, and the lean angle is set at order. Scale is cut to order. Pieces ordered together are poured in one batch. It travels boxed and sleeved and is a one-person carry with nothing to assemble. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A torso leaning forward with its arms hewn into the body belongs with our classic sculptures; planes catching light at their edges lead to our abstract sculptures, and colourless resin with no leaf joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
