Clear Forked Twig & Dried Leaf Block Resin Sculpture - 22cm
Clear Forked Twig & Dried Leaf Block Resin Sculpture - 22cm $1,75500
Description

A forked brown twig rises from near the foot of this upright block of high-clarity resin and branches into thin side shoots that reach almost to the top. Long, pointed dried leaves in pale straw hang from it or drift beside it, their midribs and fine veins plain and their surfaces freckled with darker spots, and one at the top right curls over on itself. A small curled leaf lies alone near the bottom corner.

Straw Leaves Hanging from a Forked Twig

Clean, square edges and a glassy polish on the high-clarity resin let the twig be traced from the foot to every fork. Its bark is a warm reddish brown, knobbled with small buds, and its tips are fine and wiry. The leaves are slim and tapered, a little papery, with edges that curl or twist, and their freckling gives them the look of a woodland floor in late autumn. Each twig grows its own way, so the branching and the fall of the leaves vary between blocks.

Compact and upright, it brings a little of the outdoors into a city flat, whether on a study desk, a windowsill or a bedside table. At 22cm it rests at an easy height on a mantelpiece, where the twig can be followed by eye. Pale walls and warm wood make the straw leaves glow, and side light from a window shows the texture of the bark. Indoor use only.

Twig, Leaves and Block Made to Order

Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. It is sold as one block, and the price covers exactly that. Bespoke, the twig can come from another tree, the leaves can arrive in fresh greens or deep autumn reds, and the block can be made at another height or in other proportions to fit a particular spot. It is protected in foam in a fitted box and is ready to display once unwrapped. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A forked twig hung with straw-pale leaves adds a woodland note to our abstract sculptures; see also our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
