A colourless splash that spreads more than it climbs, with arms that leave a low cup at the foot and nearly all separate into blunt two-pronged ends. The two outer arms come off the cup at a shallow angle and keep it, while the branches between them climb steeply and put out short forked twigs as they go, so the piece grows outward at about the rate it grows upward. Nothing on it is tinted. Over the middle of the cup a small arcade of strands arches from one side to the other.
A point can be drawn out until it is right. A fork cannot: it has two ends and a crotch between them, and all three have to be correct at once or the whole arm looks broken rather than divided. The two prongs must come away at the same moment and carry the same weight without being identical, because a matched pair looks manufactured and an unmatched pair that is too unmatched looks like a mistake. The crotch between them is the hardest part, since it is the one place where material is being asked to split and stay smooth. Almost every arm on the piece ends this way, so the work repeats and there is nowhere a weak fork could be hidden; the exception is the arm stretching furthest out on the right, which finishes in a single rounded tip with a small bud beneath it, like a full stop at the end of the spread.
Broader than it is high, with its outer arms coming out low, it suits a surface people can walk round. Against a wall the arms on the far side are lost and half the drawing goes with them, and in a corner the piece reads as a fan rather than a splash. An island, a low table in the middle of a floor or a plinth standing free all give it the full circle. It wants clear air on every side to the width of the arms, and a little more where people will pass close to it.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. Nearly every arm ends in a blunt fork rather than a point, and a fork even slightly uneven reads as damage. The number of forks is set at order, a tint is run through the body, and the spread is drawn in for a tighter position. The angle the arms leave the cup at is set with it, so the piece can be drawn more upright where floor space is short. It ships upright, packed into a crate that follows the outline of the foot, with every arm faced and separated, and it is taken out by the cup and never by an arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Arms branching out of a low cup into blunt forks lead from this clear splash to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
