Description

A stand of slender rods rising from a polished steel disc, each one carrying a trumpet-shaped flower head, the heads gathered together above into a single mass. Colourless everywhere, with the steel disc under it the only thing in the piece that carries a tone. Nothing is supplied under it: the polished steel disc is part of the piece, and the stems rise straight out of it.

Two Materials, Two Jobs

Almost nothing in this range uses two materials for structural reasons rather than decorative ones, and this does. What each of them is for is the whole design decision. The rods are cut to different heights so the heads sit at several levels rather than in one plane, which is what stops the crown reading as a flat disc of flowers from above. Acrylic is chosen for the rods because a stem has to stay straight, and cast resin for the heads because a flower has to be modelled. The rods are left as drawn and the heads are polished, so the stems read as line and the flowers as volume.

A dining table, a wide console or an island, with light above it. A dark ground is what separates the heads from one another; against white they merge into a single cloud. Light from above runs down every rod at once and gathers in the heads, which is the whole effect. It reads as one crown from the door and separates into individual flowers within a couple of paces.

More Stems, and How It Arrives

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. More stems are set or fewer, a tint is run into the heads, and the disc is finished in another metal. Add stems and the crown closes up, because the disc is one size and the heads have to share it. The disc and the stems travel assembled in one fitted crate and need nothing doing on arrival. Two people, carried by the disc alone, and no stem should ever be gripped. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
