Clear Floating Pine Cone Block Resin Sculpture - 41cm
Clear Floating Pine Cone Block Resin Sculpture - 41cm $3,37400
Description

Seven small pine cones float through this block of high-clarity resin, every one facing outward like a little rosette of scales. Five have rounded woody scales tipped in pale gold and tan, while two are spikier and darker, their pointed scales edged with rust-red. They are spread loosely from the upper left towards the bottom right, with generous clear space between them.

Small Woody Cones with Gold-Tipped Scales

High-clarity resin forms the block, its broad faces polished to a gloss and its edges crisp and straight. Every cone keeps the texture of its scales, which overlap in tight spirals and open slightly at the tips, so each one is a small, intricate rosette. The pale tips catch the light against the darker brown of the scales beneath, and the two spiky cones add a rougher, more angular note. A few tiny specks and a bubble rest in the clear around them. No two cones grow alike, so their sizes and shading change from block to block.

Its woodland character suits a study, a reading room or a kitchen dresser, and through the winter it sits happily beside candles and evergreen sprigs. At 41cm it fits on a sideboard or a broad shelf, at a height that invites a closer look. Oak, linen and warm stone around it bring out the browns of the scales. Indoor use only.

Cones Chosen and Spaced for Your Block

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The block is sold individually, and the price covers one. Ordered bespoke, it can hold more cones or fewer, cones mixed with acorns or seed heads, or one cone alone at the centre; the resin itself can carry a gentle amber tint, and the block can be made at another size. Foam inside a sturdy carton protects it in transit, and once lifted out it is ready to display. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Woodland cones scattered through a clear block lend our resin sculptures a wintry note, and the block keeps easy company with our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
