A flame drawn up from a closed loop at its foot, carried on a four-legged stand of the same colourless material. Colourless throughout, so the piece takes whatever colour is in the room and gives it back at the edges. A four-legged acrylic stand is included, meant to all but disappear under the flame.
A colourless object on a colourless stand has no join the eye can find, so the piece appears to begin in mid-air, and that is the entire point of specifying acrylic rather than stone. Where the marble version of a stand announces itself, this one refuses to. Two colourless things meeting give the eye no edge at all, so the flame appears to begin in mid-air and the join has to be looked for rather than seen. A colourless casting on a colourless stand means the material gives the eye no edge where one part ends and the next begins, so the join is found by looking for it rather than seen. Polished over the whole casting, and the stand carries the flat even sheen acrylic takes.
It wants a light room with floor to spare, since a third of the height is stand and the stand is meant to disappear. A dark ground at its back is what gives a colourless object an outline at all. Light from the side runs the length of the flame and stops at the loop; light from behind takes the whole thing away. It reads as a drawn line across the room and as a solid only once you are near enough to see the thickness.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The loop can be opened, a tint is available through the casting, and the stand is made at other heights or in stone. Swap the stand for stone and the flame stops floating, which is a steadier object and a completely different one. Two crates. The stand goes together first and is levelled before the flame is set onto it. Two people. The stand is the light half and needs holding while the casting goes on. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear flame on a stand of clear acrylic joins our acrylic sculptures; the loop-footed flame sits with our resin sculptures, and a light room shows it best among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
