Clear Dripped Leg Cast Resin Bar Stool, 110cm, with rippled back, seat, and drip-textured legs resembling running water, shown on a plain white background.
Clear Dripped Leg Cast Resin Bar Stool - 110cm $4,25200
Description

This clear resin bar stool has every member modelled as running water: the back is a rippled panel, the seat is a rippled sheet, and the four legs taper to the floor with drips set down their length. It is sold as a single stool, so order two where a pair is wanted at a counter.

Water Frozen at Bar Height

The ripple runs the full height of every member, modelled into the mould so it never stops at a line, and the drips down the legs are cast rather than added. Colourless is the hardest thing to cast at this height: with no tint to hide behind, every bubble reads from any angle, and the four legs have to come out of the cure dead true or a stool at this height rocks. Every face is brought up by hand to a mirror, the underside of the seat included, because a clear stool at this height is looked up into from any chair beside it.

At 110cm to the top of the back this is a bar or counter stool and it will run under a worktop of standard height. It is sold singly, so a row at an island is a matter of ordering the number you need. Clear resin takes its presence from what is behind it, so a dark cabinet front does more for it than a pale wall.

One Stool, the Drips, and Ordering a Row

Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The dripped leg sets the pace here. At order, three things are open. The drips can be worked heavier or eased back, a colour is taken through the material where clear is not wanted, and the back panel is drawn to whatever height suits your counter. The seat height and the back height are named by you. For a matching group, the run of the drips down each leg is set once and carried through it. Nothing bears on the rippled back panel and the four dripped feet in transit, and two people are enough to place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Running water frozen into a bar stool gives our art furniture a seat for a counter; the water language belongs with our organic sculptures, its glassy drips with our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
