Description

Upright and narrow, this clear resin block holds a sprig of dried leaves on a tangle of thin brown twigs that branch from a single stem near the foot. The leaves are long and slender, a pale straw tan freckled with darker specks, and several curl or fold along their midribs as they reach towards the top. Tiny round air bubbles are scattered all through the clear around them, like fizz caught in still water.

The block is cast in clear resin and its faces are polished flat, with crisp, square edges that frame the sprig like the glass of a specimen case. Every leaf keeps its own texture: the midrib stands proud, the margins curl, and the fine dark freckling of the dried surface stays visible from close up. The twigs are wiry and fork at odd angles, some ending in small curled tendrils, and the sprig spreads almost edge to edge across the block. No two sprigs dry to quite the same shape, so the arrangement in each block is its own.

Its slim upright shape suits a bedside table, a desk or a deep windowsill, where it can be looked at closely and turned to follow the twigs from a new side. At 20cm it sits comfortably between books on a shelf. A plain wall or a pale painted surface behind it lets the straw-coloured leaves stand out, and morning light catches the bubbles like small beads. Indoor use only.

A Single Leafy Block, Cast When You Order

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The price covers a single block, which is made once your order is confirmed. As a bespoke commission it can hold a different dried sprig, a few grasses or a seed head in place of the leaves, and the block can be made in other proportions to suit a particular shelf or niche. It travels cushioned in its own fitted box and needs nothing more than a level surface when it arrives. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
